Together, we can do it!
CJS celebrated No Pens Day in March, a national day dedicated to speaking and understanding language (Oracy). On this day, the children put down their pens and focused on developing their oracy skills. They took part in exciting activities to learn in different ways!
At Debate Club this year we have been debating topics such as:
-Should homework be banned?
-Should Donald Trump be impeached as President?
-Should Fortnite be banned?
-Should electrical devices be allowed in school?
We have been using the Talk Roles during debates to help us make strong arguments.
We also visited the Houses of Parliament with the PLT. We were able to view the House of Lords, sit in the House of Commons and even had a go at creating our own laws!
